I have some questions for you and these aren’t rhetorical. I truly am interested in hearing your responses. I love listening to people’s stories.
Are you frustrated with the World?
Do you look around and think, things don’t need to be this way or life shouldn’t be such a struggle?
Are you overwhelmed by Earth’s changes including wildfires, flooding, and species extinction?
Me too. Or I was.
I hit a real low this week, a low like I haven’t experienced in a very long time. I thought, this is not the World that I want to live in and the vision that I have for this World is so far from what we are currently experiencing that I can’t see how they can be reconciled.
Generally, when I feel overwhelm or frustration at the World, it’s a sign that I am experiencing Nature deficit or need a news break. However, I had been spending time with Nature and I was frustrated with personal experiences not media stories.
Knowing that something was going on, I turned to ceremony. Wow! Not only did I experience a massive perspective shift, I also experienced deep healing. While I received numerous messages, the overall theme was that I have not been working with the Unseen (Faeries and Elementals, Ancestors, Cosmic Forces, Elements and so much more).
To be fair, I work with the Unseen for my clients almost daily. However, I had not been engaging with Unseen forces for my own life nor the Sanctuary, which is unusual. And as they reminded me, magic occurs when we work with the Unseen Worlds, this is where we co-create real change.
Once again, I chuckled at the Divine timing as I am preparing for the Co-Creating Sanctuary Workshop. When we engage in co-creative partnership, we work with our more-than-human kin which includes the Unseen Worlds.
I don’t claim to have all of the answers nor that I can solve all of life’s problems. I can however, share what has helped me. Engaging in co-creative partnership here at Heart Springs has given me so much hope and filled my days with a beauty I couldn’t have imagined. I’ve seen the Land heal and the Bird population grow. I read reports about missing Fireflies or Butterfly species reducing. And yet, here we have a light show each night and the Butterflies are so prolific. As I work with the other Beings of Heart Springs, I too experience healing. I learn so much more about myself, Nature, and the many possibilities for our future.
In my Ceremony, I was reminded that there are many people working with Nature in co-creative partnership around the World. Together we create oases of hope. As each of us engages with Nature and the Unseen, we shift the vibrations strengthening the possibility of bringing this World into being. Therefore, one of the most important things that we can do is to work with whatever Land or space we have access to, learning how to truly be co-creative partners. As we learn to listen to and partner with our more-than-human kin, we upend the paradigm of domination. We realize that all of life is connected, what I do to Earth, what I do to you, I do to me.
My Guides stressed the need to engage in co-creative partnership with Love, joy, and playfulness. Recognizing that if our work or play is exhausting or draining us or if we are overwhelmed than we need to take a break and refill. We cannot create from exhaustion that is an act of violence towards ourselves. Violence and domination do not bring forth Love nor lasting change. Love is the way.
If you are able to join us for Co-Creating Sanctuary, I would love to share some of the wisdom and guidance I have received from the Beings at Heart Springs Sanctuary. A few spots remain in this course and I just added an extra spot. While I’ve taught aspects of this course before, this is the first time that I am sharing the fundamental aspects of co-creating Sanctuary in such depth. As I wrote in my last newsletter, the time has come for us to steward another Sanctuary. (And no, we have not found that Sanctuary yet, but I can feel ki getting closer.) The Beings of Heart Springs Sanctuary have always pushed me to have more people here, they want to interact with humans. And so, I think this workshop is the best way that I can honor and thank them for their incredible generosity.
So join us, learn, engage with our more-than-human kin, feel the Love and support that surrounds you, soak in the possibilities of a more loving future, and feed your Soul.
If you are unable to join us, then I hope that wherever you are you take some time to engage with Nature and the Unseen Worlds. Sit with a Tree, give an offering, sing to Water, dance barefoot on the Land, create habitat for other species, feed the Ancestors, daydream with the Faeries, and delight in the abundance of wonder.
Thanks for being here for this wild ride we call Life at this very special time.
