Living in Authenticity

living in authenticity

Most of us have been told from childhood that we are different or wrong. We see these messages everywhere we look. We are taught that we should hide our idiosyncrasies and conform. We are taught to be guarded. If we share our true selves with others, they will leave and we will be alone. Sometimes, we believe this so much that we forget who we are, what we enjoy, and what gifts we have to share. Life can become meaningless and rote. Though in the quiet of the night, we may think that there has to be something more to life.

It takes real courage to move beyond the training of conformity and step into authenticity. Beginning to share our fears, our vulnerabilities, our desires can feel like we are stepping off a ledge into a great abyss. Rather than an abyss, we discover a new world and a new way of being.

The more we share our true selves with others (and ourselves), the more this magical world opens to us. Instead of being alone or ridiculed, we find ourselves surrounded by support and Love. Yes, we may lose relationships; however these are replaced with more meaningful, fulfilling ones.

Life still has challenges, though as we voice these, we discover resources in areas we would not previously have imagined. We may even discover that there are gifts within the challenges.

As Earth continues to evolve, humanity is urged to expand our consciousness, to remember who we are, embrace our gifts and lessons, and step into our potential. Authenticity, truth, and honesty are requirements for our evolution. Fortunately, we have many Guides who are willing to support us along the way and illuminate our path forward.

Whether you are beginning your journey of authenticity or are a Guide for others, read on for support and inspiration on this very important journey . . .
