There are many ways of working with Brigid’s Way Spirit Essences. The following is one of our favorite ways of working with this particular Essence:

Creating a Spray Bottle

Sometimes it’s helpful to have our Essences in a spray form. Clearing Essences are particularly nice in a spray bottle. Though other times we may want Essences that provoke a different effect, maybe help us move into our Heart or ground us.

A spray with Rose Spirit Essence is a lovely way to keep Rose and ki’s healing gifts a part of our daily life. Spritzing ourselves once or twice and tuning into Rose, helps us to feel surrounded and held by Love.

Generally we use 4 ounce spray bottles. For this, we fill the bottle with a mixture of 50% high quality, spring Water and 50% vodka or another preservative such as vinegar (note the vinegar will not last as long and will have an odor). We then add 24 drops of a stock Essence. 

Depending on our intention for the spray, we may add several stock Essences to the bottle, including 24 drops of each. If desired, we may also add a few drops of Essential Oils.

Shake this bottle and then spray ourselves or an area as needed. Usually for a person 2 -3 sprays is sufficient. 

We can use different size spray bottles, always keeping the same ratio, which is 3 drops of stock Essence to ½ ounce of the base liquid.
